Your day to day
  • Increase sales and market share by meeting set targets and expanding accounts.
  • Develop short-and long-term plans for achieving annual sales, executional priorities, and gross profit goals.
  • Promote PRIMED products through sales calls, presentations, and trade shows.
  • Contact existing customers to provide information and quotes, and close new business leads
  • Manage a diverse sales base effectively, understanding sales trends and competition.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers, including executive-level contacts.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently through superior communication and project management.
  • Adhere to Quality Policy and procedures while exploring new markets.
  • Demonstrate commitment to exceed sales goals and expand the customer base.
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing to develop necessary marketing collateral.

Who you are:

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.
  • Ability to travel to various jurisdictions including Asia and the United States.

  • This position is based in the Edmonton office and will require domestic and international travel. While working in Edmonton, work from home is permitted 1day per week.
  • Typical office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. However, due to the nature of the business, work outside of typical hours including travel during evenings and weekends may be required.

  • Responsible for intercompany billing, cost allocation, and reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and forecasts to support decision-making processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual  budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data for trends and anomalies.
  • Review inventory receiving and  customer billing for completeness and accuracy.

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in  corporate accounting, preferably with exposure to a multi-entity environment. CPA designation is not required.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with independent problem-solving capabilities to manage multiple priorities.
  • Solid knowledge of ASPE (Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises).
  • Advanced computer proficiency in Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, databases, etc.).

Senior Data Developer (Barbados)

Your day to day:

You and the Data & Analytics team helps all areas of the organization through the development of timely, accurate and relevant information. Using cloud technologies such as Azure Data Factory, the SDD will work to automate data integration from multiple sources to a cloud data warehouse. The SDD should have a passion for coaching, data and building innovative solutions and be familiar with cloud Data Warehousing best practices. The position is based in the Barbados office and may require travel internationally to our offices in Canada. Typical office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The following is a list of the high-level activities/deliverables and is not meant to be all-inclusive:

  • Administer and maintain key data assets such as Microsoft (MS) Fabric or One Lake.
  • Leverage MS Power Platform to automate manual processes and enhance data integration.
  • Develop, test, and deploy data pipelines and cloud architectures using various tools and frameworks.
  • Construct and administer fully automated, incremental ETL solutions using tools such as Fivetran, MSFabric and One Lake.
  • Integrate and validate data from multiple sources and formats, such as structured, unstructured, streaming, and batch data using tools such as MS Azure Data Factory.
  • Design and implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Optimize data performance, scalability, and availability using cloud platforms and services.
  • Create SQL scripts and leverage Power BI reports to create visualizations to answer complex business questions.
  • Document data processes, workflows standards, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data performance and integrity.
  • Work with the Information Systems team to champion data governance, and stewardship in determining and evaluating the true source of information.
  • Provide assistance and/or mentorship to junior team members.
  • Undertake special projects and additional tasks as assigned.

Who you are:

The SDD will gain insights into the data from collaborating with team members across the organization in various roles. This understanding will ensure data accuracy and accessibility for analytics and decision-making.

  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Additional specialized study in analytical methods would be considered an asset.
  • 4-6 years of demonstrated and measurable success in analyzing information and managing analytical projects.
  • Expert level knowledge of the Kimball data warehouse architecture and best practices.
  • Advance familiarity with MS Office suite and tools such as Excel, Power BI, MS Power Platform, SSMS and Fabric / One Lake.
  • Proven knowledge of cloud Data Architecture best practices. 
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, and Spark languages. Additional languages such as Python, or R would be considered an asset.
  • Strong track record for attention to detail and enthusiasm towards learning.
  • Demonstrated excellence in analytical ability, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
